I don't do blogs

It used to be that I thought I would never start a blog. I want to minimize my online footprint as much as possible (not so feasible me doing what I do). For all the obvious reasons -- I don’t like people knowing my business, I really don’t have that much to say, there would be too much pressure to keep it updated, etc. My stream of consciousness writing would be too difficult for people to follow anyway.

But I took a walk around my neighborhood today (after 1.5 years of residence), and I came upon the most incredible view and thought, “wow, how lucky am I to live here.” Immediately I wish I had my camera to capture the moment and to share with my friends -- via my very own blog! I guess I could have also shared the imaginary photo via email but how late-1990/early-2000 would that have been.

So dear friends/random strangers, I am starting my very own blog to share with you things that I find interesting…but mainly I think it will become a place for me to jot down my thoughts for my future self to read.
